New trainees at Gildeas

We would like to welcome Sean Folan to our Glasgow office, and Liam Alexander to our Edinburgh office. Both are joining Gildeas to undertake their two-year traineeships.

Sean studied law at the University of Strathclyde, graduating with the LLB in 2015 and the Diploma in 2016. Following his graduation, he worked with the Ministry of Justice as a decision maker for the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

“I’m thrilled to be undertaking by traineeship at Gildeas,” Sean said.

“I am really interested in personal injury law and I am fascinated with litigation. I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can in my two years.”
Liam completed his LLB and Diploma at Robert Gordon University.  He said:

“I am looking forward to working on personal injury cases in what is a time of change in that area of law, given the Civil Litigation bill and particularly the debate around the funding of civil litigation cases.”
