Admin Assistant: Glasgow

Admin Assistant: Glasgow

About the role:

At Gildeas, we offer an exciting and varied environment to build a future career in law. You will be fully supervised and supported throughout with the opportunity for learning and feedback encouraged. As an Admin Assistant, expect to:

• Scan, name and save correspondence and documents to the case management system 
• Input data onto our case management system
• Onboard clients onto our case management system
• Obtain client instructions to act via electronic signature software
• Make outgoing calls and answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls 
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone and email 
• Adhere to stringent data protection and management procedures, including GDPR

The role is office-based, full time in our Glasgow office. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. Salary will be dependent on experience. 

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Level 1 (formerly Basic) Disclosure Scotland certificate. 

About you:

The successful candidate will have a professional attitude with an excellent telephone manner. You will be resourceful and proactive, particularly should any challenges arise. Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks are essential to the role. You will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills and hand-on experience with office equipment will be required.

Experience in an admin role or legal environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
