Due to expansion of our Glasgow office, we are currently recruiting for the following position:

Personal Injury Claims Admin Assistant: Glasgow

About the role:

As an Admin Assistant expect that:

• You will be the first point of contact for new clients, taking detailed information from clients and ensuring accuracy of information.
• You will learn how to input data onto our case management system, onboarding clients and providing support in the initial file set-up.
• You will obtain client instructions to act via electronic signature software.
• You will make outgoing calls and answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
• You will scan, name and save correspondence and documents to our case management system.
• You will provide accurate information in-person and via phone and email, following GDPR and all relevant data protection guidance at all times.
• You will have the opportunity to develop client relationship skills, encouraging a rapport with clients and other stakeholders.

The position is based in our Glasgow office at 83 West Regent St, Glasgow, G2 2BA.

The role is office-based, full time.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm but may be subject to change. Salary will be dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Disclosure Scotland certificate.

About you:

The successful candidate should:

• Be proactive and have a can-do attitude.
• Conscientious with excellent attention to detail.
• You should be able to work as an individual and as part of a team. Communication with injured clients is integral to the role. The ideal candidate will value the client experience and be an effective communicator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite but particularly Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience with 3CX and office equipment would be advantageous.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.

Experience in a prior administrative, motor industry or legal environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Full training can be provided to suitable candidates interested in a change of career direction.

We began as a small firm when James Gildea set up his own practice in Baillieston, Glasgow in 1989. In 2001, we had grown and expanded to open offices in Edinburgh, and by 2019, we acquired our sister firm, Fulton’s Solicitors.

Our expertise covers a range of accidents and injuries, from road traffic accidents, dog bites, accidents at work, in public, and medical negligence.
